Based on a true story of merchant mariner Captain Richard Phillips whose ship got held hostage by Somali pirates in the indian ocean, this film tells the dangerous and controversial ordeal between the crew vs pirates. Tom Hanks plays Captain Phillips and early critics have given the thumbs up citing one of his best acting performance in this true-life action thriller.
