MyRepublic is a Singapore based independent startup and Internet Service Provider that has been known for their customer service and quality on home broadband, and has quickly become a popular choice among fiber broadband providers since their inception in 2012. They have recently launched their 1Gbps option, claiming to be the world’s fastest fibre broadband, for only $49.99 including GST per month to first 10,000 registrations. Apart from the promised 1Gbps, upload is at an incredible 500Mbps, free installations and a $100 router voucher included as well.

A quick look at the other providers shows that at the same price they are only offering a maximum of 300Mbps. How possibly can MyRepublic provide 1Gbps to homes is beyond us but we are guessing it might be burst speeds and local sites.
