Apple makes excellent smartphones and tablets but there’s always the dread all Apple device users will face: Expanding storage. It’s not a big problem per se if you are fine with casual web browsing, reading, games, etc. on your iPhone or iPad but for power users who want speed, convenience of work data and HD movies, inbuilt storage space or cloud just doesn’t cut it. Getting iTunes to play nice with your video files (or in fact any other files) is a nightmare. Converting them is a hassle even for techies.

We are guessing iStick is a solution that couldn’t arrive earlier due to the restrictions placed in previous iOS versions. With this nifty gadget you could transfer files, stream music and videos directly simply by plugging in. It’s not entirely native solution though, a quick look at the intro video shows that you will still need an app to access the data in iStick but this is probably the closest you can get to expanding storage on your Apple devices.
