A month ago, McDonald’s Singapore debut their Shiok Shiok Satay Burger touting it full shiokness and last week Burger King decides to launch their own version of the Satay Burger, claiming theirs as the real one and asking the public to try them. Burger King then goes on to put up some differences displaying their whopper-size patty, true flame-grilled and authenticity of the Satay sauce.
Burger King controversial move resulted in public comparing the Satay Burgers from both fast food titans and BK being the latecomers seems to have an advantage taking pointers from McDonald’s customers feedback. A quick browse on Burger King Singapore Facebook page shows that customers are happy with their Real Satay Burger and leaving positive feedback, some even with pictures of the actual burger.
It will be interesting to see what McDonald’s and Burger King both have up their sleeves next on their next campaign, fortunately for us that can only mean better customer satisfaction.
