If you still remember the last library@orchard that closes it doors seven years ago in Ngee Ann City, here’s a piece of great news as library@orchard returns to the newer Orchard Gateway building located right beside Somerset MRT station.
Taking up two floors of prime space in Orchard’s latest shopping mall, the new library is designed with a in a modern chic style with shelves collected in curves, bamboo laminated floors and furniture from local designers. According to Straits Times, almost half of the books in the library are design-related such as fashion, graphic and interior design.
