Air purifier makers should be watching this closely as Xiaomi now transforms itself into not just a smartphone maker but a household product manufacturer. After it’s successful introduction of Mi TV, here comes Mi Air Purifier, a high-performance air purifier that could clean up to 10,000 liters of air per minute challenging even the most popular brands today.
The Mi Air Purifier is also aerodynamically designed fitted with dual fans, four air ducts for large indoor circulation, comes with a 3-layered filter that removes 99.99% of PM2.5 particles, the very same particles produced from forest fires that has been haunting Singapore.
Xiaomi’s latest household product isn’t just a dumb device, it even connects to your smartphone for remote control, air quality monitoring and alerts to remind you to replace the filters. Size wise it only occupies a space equivalent of an A4 size paper.
The Mi Air Purifier will retail for ¥899 (est. ~S$191), we should expect to see them in Mi Singapore online store soon once it passes regulations here.
