McDonald’s Prosperity Meal
McDonald’s is one of the earlier fast food chains to introduce their Chinese New Year menu although it’s been a annual affair since the first Prosperity burger was introduced almost a decade ago. Their latest Prosperity Meal in the year of the Goat includes the Prosperity Burger, Prosperity Twister Fries, Taro Pie, Honey Lemon Drumlets and Orange McFizz.
The Prosperity Meal is now available for $11.30 at all McDonald’s restaurants islandwide.
Burger King TripleCheese Burgers
Burger King is going all cheesy (pun not intended) this year, re-introducing their Triple Cheese Burgers in beef and fish patty options. Combining Nacho Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese and American Cheese under a long sandwich bun, this one should appeal to all cheese lovers.
And if you are feeling hungry, you can request for a double fish or beef patty special order but of course at extra charges.
MOS Burger Salmon Cutlet Marinade Burger
MOS Burger Singapore latest Salmon Cutlet Burger is priced at $4.55, a simple yet delicious combination of salmon patty accompanied by creamy marinade of corn, pepper and carrot.
Apart from the new burger, the Japanese fast food chain is also introducing a new beverage Strawberry Sensations, a thirst-quenching flavoured drink mixed with their premium MONIN syrup and strawberry bits available for a limited time.
Pizza Hut Cheesy Blossom Pizza
Not actually real cherry blossoms (although they are indeed edible), Pizza Hut’s latest Cheesy Blossom Pizza is shaped liked a Cherry Blossom and filled with a generous variety of ingredients – 6 different cheeses, oriental chicken chunks, ham, cherry tomatoes, pineapple, mushroom and sweet mayonnaise.
For non-pizza diners looking for alternatives, Pizza Hut has also introduced a new Salmon Abundance dish to the menu, a tender-baked salmon fillet accompanied with greens and cream pasta.
Discount bundle starts from $33.80 for a Couple Meal which includes a regular-sized Cheesy Blossom Pizza, choice of two sides and two servings of Golden Prosperity Drinks.
Long John Silver’s Fortune Seafood Platter
If you are looking for seafood feast instead of the usual burgers and pizzas, Long John Silver’s new Fortune Seafood Platter will satisfy your oceanic cravings. Consisting of salmon, pacific dory fillets, Calamari and shrimp with their all time favourite crispy fries, you will want to share this with a group of friends or family.
Or choose from the healthier alternatives with their new Green Salad that combines fresh vegetables and battered fish or chicken fillets. From $19.80 for the seafood platter for 2 and salads from $5.60. Available at all Long John Silver’s outlets in Singapore.

KFC Golden Fortune Box & Feast
KFC Singapore’s Chinese New Year promotional menu comes in a box filled with your favourite 2-piece chicken, 4 pieces of nuggets with smoky chipotle BBQ sauce, 1 Pineapple Egg Tart, whipped potato and a can of Pepsi beverage. All these for $7.80 but KFC states that their prices may vary in different outlets and online orders.

Texas Chicken Asian Spice Chicken
Though not explicitly mentioned it’s a Chinese New Year menu item, it seems to fit nicely within the festive period and since Chinese New Year is pretty much an Asian tradition. No mention on what spices are used, the new Asian Spice Chicken is nevertheless worthy of a visit to Texas Chicken outlets.
Priced at $3.30 a piece and 30c to 50c surcharge (depending on the chicken parts) for upgrade from original or spicy chicken pieces.
Nando’s Red Packet Promotion
From the world’s famous Afro-Portugese PERi-PERi flame-grilled chicken restaurant Nando’s in Singapore, they are now giving away custom-designed red packets when you dine in at their restaurants here. Who knows, you might just walk away with extra Nando’s vouchers inside the red packets.

Popeyes Prosperous Bundle
In a fishy twist, Popeyes Chinese New Year promotion isn’t featuring their signature fried chicken but instead they are offering their Cajun Fish drizzled with Spicy Korean sauce along with a regular colesaw, ice-cream, a regular Berry Fizz Delight drink and a set of Popeyes red packets.
All that for just $6.80 which is pretty good value but do note that there is limited quantity on the red packets at every outlet. If you have always been to Popeyes for their fried chicken and wondered if their fish stands up to the taste, here’s your chance to give it a try.
