An endless snowboarding odyssey

If you are a fan of endless running games like Temple Run, you might be interested in this game though its graphic and gameplay is in fact inspired by Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Monument Valley. Alto’s Adventure is the latest iOS platform game that has been getting rave reviews less than a week into it’s debut.

In Alto’s Adventure you played Alto, a snowboarder trying to retrieve his llamas and overcoming obstacles, chasms and at the same time scoring points with tricks even Tony Hawk would be proud of. And just when you thought it would be repetitive once you hit a rock or landed the wrong way, it isn’t. Alto’s Adventure is dynamically designed so that it matches the level you have acquired, the landscapes and features changes.

There isn’t an endpoint per se in Alto’s Adventure, though you have 3 varying goals every time you completed them. Once you hit level 5 and above, things get a bit complicated but nothing frustrating and the amazing graphics and details just keep you hooked for hours. While it’s just tapping to get through the game, it’s still pretty difficult to master since the game moves pretty fast and the obstacles can sometimes be tough to spot but once you run it through a few times, it’s easy to notice why this game is so attractive and addictive.

Alto’s Adventure is only available on Apple App store for S$2.58, there’s no news if the developers will even release an Android version (though they are listening) so you will have to pick up a iPhone or iPad in order to play this one.
