Mobile network disruptions are becoming a tradition, after M1 major outage around a year ago, this time round Singtel takes the blunder. To make matters worse, Singtel decides to post updates and announcement on social media which angered customers since they couldn’t access the internet.
So like any company trying to fix its bad PR, Singtel announced earlier they will be waiving local mobile data charges on Labour Day for postpaid customers. It definitely won’t placate the angry customers with many still taking complaints to Singtel’s Facebook page but at least it’s a reasonable gesture, especially if you always hit the upper limit of your data plans.
