Hosted by NYC (not New York City but National Youth Council), SHINE Festival 2015 returns for yet another year celebrating the youths of our nation and this year, for the first time, they will be closing a good stretch of Orchard Road, from ION Orchard till Cineleisure lining the region with activities and performances next weekend 10-12 July 2015.
This year, SHINE Festival is themed “Build Your World” where youths are encouraged to learn more about their individual interest and passion, forge partnerships to pursue their aspirations, and expand on their talents to create positive impact in the community.
The festival has also invited some of the best Youtube talents including actors and actresses Ryan Higa, Arden Cho and Night Owl Cinematics, musicians such as David Choi, Jun Sung Ahn, Weish and many more. Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Mr Lawrence Wong will also be present to launch the festival on 11 July 2015.
