Singapore Night Festival 2015 is here again: Here are the highlights

The eighth installation of the Singapore Night Festival 2015 returns for two weekends on 21 & 22 and 28 & 29 August. The iconic night-time spectacular will begin from 7pm till late night 2am set to happen along the Brash Basah and Bugis precincts.

First up in front of Singapore Art Museum, be mesmerised by Starlight Alchemy’s showcase of multi-discplinary flow arts, combining a variety of aerial and large custom-made fire props,
and LED technology performance props.

Various artists will be performing at the field opposite The Cathay, including ventriloquists, comedian Kumar, rock jamboree band Tiramisu and many more. Tickets to the performances are priced at $15 per person.

Local busking heroes will be performing at the Singapore Management University (SMU) Green all night long. Catch The Lost Hat, Glad Stones, HubbaBubbas, The Lorong Boys and popular Malay singer-songwriter Awi Rafael at the Singapore Night Festival Village.

Last but definitely not the least, Night Lights lets you discover light and art installations at various locations in the festival grounds. Highlights include lively projections across the facade of the National Museum, Hanami (lighted Cherry Blossoms) in Armenian Church, a giant kaleidoscope of optical illusions in National Design Centre atrium area and more.
