Burger King came up with a peace proposal asking McDonald’s to team up to create McWhopper from both fast-food chains iconic burgers in a bid to commemorate Peace Day on 21 September 2015.

While a brilliant marketing idea with everyone hoping McDonald’s would agree to the collaboration, sadly McD rejected the idea shortly after receiving the proposal which unsurprisingly resulted in fans sending a flurry of angry backlashes on its Facebook page.

Despite McDonald’s being a spoilsport, you can still go ahead and make your own McWhopper by mashing up Big Mac and Whopper from both restaurants to see how it all tastes like. And in case you are confused, this is all happening in the states, not from the firms here in Singapore.

Dear Burger King, Inspiration for a good cause… great idea. We love the intention but think our two brands could…
