iOS 9 is officially out now and if you notice a nagging badge on the settings icon on your Apple smartphone or tablet, it means you can now download over WiFi and install it on the go without connecting it to a desktop or laptop.
So what’s new in the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system? Quite a few security fixes including the important Bluetooth vulnerability that allows someone to install malicious apps via Airdrop. Features wise – Siri is smarter now, you can do some real multitasking on iPad with Slide Over, Split View and Picture in Picture capabilities. Default apps such as Notes, Mail and Maps get improvements and new features. Performance is faster as well and Apple claims longer battery life on your devices.
