Get your hands on a reissue of the 1975 NASA Graphics Standards Manual

The "worm" logo that we knew about

If you are looking to own a piece of history, this is it. If you still recall the worm-like award-winning logo NASA used for 17 years from 1975 to 1992, you will be glad to know they are reprinting the very NASA Graphics Standards Manual back when the iconic logo was first designed and you can get a copy of the reissue from this Kickstarter project.

Sadly the “worm” logo was retired in 1992 when NASA controversially brought back the classic meatball insignia which still represents the space program organisation today. For the rest who had come to love the previous design, here’s a chance to make the manual a keeper in your prized bookshelf.

The reissue copy is priced at US$79 but shipping is a hefty US$50 to Singapore, quite possibly due to the weight since it is protected by a hardcover. You need to fork out US$129 in total, though expensive but for design fans and space enthusiasts, this just might be the best reward yet.
