Start looking at your bank cards now and find out if they have NETS FlashPay at the back of them. If yes, you are entitled to a 10% rebate on your MRT rides for every $10 top-up (up to a maximum $30 top-up a month), meaning a cap of $3 a month.
The 3-month campaign launched by NETS from now till 31 January next year aims to raise awareness of using FlashPay cards for public transports payments including rides on MRT, LRT and buses.
NETS FlashPay enabled cards from DBS, POSB, OCBC and UOB cards are eligible for the rebate such as the POSB Go! card, OCBC Frank card and UOB Delight card.
No activation is required, consumers simply need to make a top-up at any ATM or self-service top-up machine at MRT stations and the rebate amount available on the 30th of the following month via the Add Value Machine Plus. The payment network would consider extending the rebate period if the results go well.
