Often criticised for its invite system, OnePlus has just announced last Thursday on its Facebook page that they will be opening up their sales on both the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X without an invite code.
The move is a clear sign that OnePlus has become capable of fulfilling larger orders and possibly a better control of the production line. It’s no coincidence that the news came during this festive season, drawing gift senders with an option to think about.
That doesn’t mean you should purchase one now since OnePlus recent switch to its own OxygenOS is marred with issues reported by users. There are quick temporary fixes and will probably be resolved via an update from the company but you should do some homework before you set your mind to purchase one, regardless if it’s a gift or for own use.
OnePlus official online store doesn’t ship to Singapore but you can purchase both new phones exclusively online at reasonably good prices on Lazada – OnePlus 2 64GB priced at S$598 and OnePlus X 16GB at S$438 (free $25 Lazada voucher).Buy Now
