Due to overwhelming demand last year, POSB pop-up ATMs for Chinese New Year new notes is set to return tomorrow, 20 January 2016. There will be a total of 36 pop-up POSB ATMs at 12 community clubs (see table below).
The ATMs will be available round-the-clock in most community clubs except the ones in Chong Pang, Teck Ghee and Toa Payoh West which will only open from 9am to 10pm daily. Customers can use their DBS/POSB ATM cards to withdraw new notes in combinations from the table below:
Apart from the pop-up ATMs, customers are also able to exchange their new notes at full-service POSB and DBS bank branches from 20 January till 6 February 2016. Priority will be given to elders and those with special needs and a total of 160 ambassadors will be dispatched to assist the notes exchange. Alternatively, you can consider making use of DBS’s SMS ‘Q’ service to request a queue number instead of queueing at the branch.
Customers can also sign up interest to reserve their new notes online and will be notified through email to confirm collection details, subjected to schedule availability. You can find more information from the official DBS news release here.Register Interest at DBS
