Witness Japanese Cherry Blossoms in full bloom at Gardens by the Bay

Japan Sakura comes to Singapore

Japan’s cherry blossoms or more commonly known as Sakura is expected to bloom around late March to early May this year according to the latest forecasts by the weather association in the country. Every year, tourists from all over the world travel to Japan during this period of the year to witness the trees in full bloom.

Yet many are reluctant to travel to Japan during this period due to the soaring prices in hotels and flights but now there’s a rare opportunity to witness the real cherry blossoms here at home. Brought to you none other than Gardens by the Bay for the first time in Singapore, the organisers have flown in over 20 breathtaking varieties of sakura blooms including the Prunus ‘Shirotae’ from Mt Fuji and the vibrant Okame from Japan.
