The Panama Papers Leak explained in cartoon by Vox

Singapore joins in to investigate

We know, it’s not exactly related to what we usually write about but with all the big hoohaa on the Panama Papers leak, there must be some of us who are confused and wondering what it’s all about.

Vox Media has cheekily (or brilliantly) put up a cartoon illustration and the video above, based on a Reddit post, explaining the leak using piggy banks and moms. That’s basically the gist of it, except in reality it’s a little ugly since politicians in some countries are getting involved.

According to a report by The Straits Times, the Ministry of Finance and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) will also be reviewing the leaked information and ready to take action on individuals and entities in Singapore if evidence of wrongdoing is found.
