Here’s some good news if you are looking forward to exploring islands a little further beyond Singapore because National Parks Board has just announced new conservation plans to rejuvenate the Sisters’ Islands.

There will be a turtle hatchery set up on Little Sister’s Island, all thanks to HSBC’s generous donation of half a million dollars to the project. For Big Sister’s Island, it will host facilities such as a floating pontoon, intertidal pools, a boardwalk providing sweeping views of the coastline and forest trails through the island.

The public can also chip in and own a piece of the marine park by sponsoring a coral for $200 in the new Plant-A-Coral initiative. The new facilities are expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
