IKEA Singapore has just issued a recall on their safety gate, particularly the PATRULL and PATRULL KLÄMMA Safety Gate and extension.

The Swedish furniture company has received customer reports that the safety gates opened unexpectedly and children have fallen down stairs, some incidents required medical attention. There are, however, no incidents reported in Singapore.

IKEA also states that they have zero tolerance regarding child safety and urges customers to immediately stop using the safety gates and bring them back to IKEA for a refund. Proof of purchase is not required for this recall.
