Croissants, tarts, ice cream, toasts and who knows what next, #EverythingAlsoSaltedEgg has become the ongoing craze that has taken over the food scene here in Singapore.
We should have seen it coming. That’s right, McDonald’s has jumped on the salted egg bandwagon as well. Starting from 30 June this Thursday, the new Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Burger will be making its way to the fast food chain faster than you can say salted eggs.
The new burger is part of a limited-time menu which includes a new Twist & Shake Fries with salt and pepper crab-flavoured shake seasoning, and a new Gula Melaka McFlurry with layered cake bites.
Two more hot favourites that are making their return to McDonald’s as well – Spicy McNuggets and the forever-sold-out Banana Pie.
