Peak Design has come a long way and if you hate the baggage around your camera, you probably have heard of them or are already using their straps or clips.
After successfully launching their first bag on Kickstarter a year ago, they are back again on the same crowdfunding platform. This time, with 3 new designs – The Everyday Backpack, Tote and Sling.
A quick look at the video demonstrated vast improvements and new features on the new bags. However, there’s no sight of a messenger bag since they already have one which you can buy from their online store.
Everyday Backpack
The new range of bags and tote are built with versatility, accessibility, and expansion in mind. They are also filled with tonnes of pockets for organisation, weatherproof and perhaps more importantly, they look incredibly gorgeous.
The backpacks feature Peak Design’s proprietary Maglatch for easy opening and closing, up to 10 litres of expansion and side pockets for quick access to your gear.
Everyday Tote
The Everyday Tote is a classic but doesn’t fall short on features. It is your camera bag, a diaper bag, and a gym bag altogether. A weatherproof magnetic closure lets you open and close the tote easily and securely. It also features a versatile strap system that lets you carry in multiple ways such as backpack or crossbody sling styles. Similarly, the tote comes with ample pockets for your gear and daily accessories and an external carry strap for e.g. tripod or yoga mats.
Everyday Sling
The smallest bag of the range, the Everyday Sling is a compact low-profile for folks who want to carry light. It’s minimal yet packed with useful features such as an expansion compartment and a seatbelt-style external carry for an extra tripod, yoga mat, etc. A major highlight of the bag is the axial attachment that connects the carrying strap, allowing the sling bag to conform to the body, a great feature for cyclists.
