Hunting for the best local foods in Singapore? Look no further, because the Bib Gourmand awards for the 2016 Michelin Guide Singapore has just been announced. A total of 34 eateries made it to the list.
Of the 34 on the list, 17 of them can be found in traditional food centres. To qualify for the Bib Gourmand awards, venues must offer good value meal for under $45. This year awardees represent a rich diversity of 19 cuisine types including Indian, Cantonese, Vietnamese and even Turkish food.
Among the list include popular hawker favourites such as Hainanese Chicken Rice in Tiong Bahru Market, J2 Crispy Curry Puff in Amoy Street Market, Wedang Indonesian satay in Golden Mile Complex and Bismillah Biryani on Dunlop Street.
