Apple new iPhone 7 to be announced on September 7 Keynote

A roundup on what's coming

As many have predicted, Apple’s latest flagship smartphones will be arriving this September.

The new generation of iPhone is expected to be called iPhone 7 and continue to be available in the two sizes 5.5 and 4.7-inch displays.

Some of the rumoured changes include the disappearance of the headphone jack, improved water resistance, faster processors, and the much-anticipated dual-lens camera. Leaked photo of the iPhone 7 suggests that its design will be similar to the iPhone 6 with few changes. The final public launch of iOS 10 is also expected to launch together with the new phone.

Some sites have tried to decipher the meaning behind the cryptic invite (see picture above), suggesting the bokeh of an apple logo from the background is an actual photo was taken from the iPhone 7 camera with much-improved lens and night/low-light photography capabilities.

The keynote will be streamed live on Apple’s website at 1am next Thursday Singapore time.
