The People’s Association has just announced that they will be giving away free insect repellents for pregnant women this Saturday, 10 September 2016.
Mums-to-be can collect their free bottle at any nearest Community Club (CC). Pregnant women who are unable to do so can assign someone to collect on their behalf by showing the maternity appointment card from hospital or gynaecologist. You can check the CC opening hours here.
According to the association, travel-sized 30ml bottles will be made available and should last an estimated three days of regular application.
The move is to enable pregnant women to quickly get their hands on insect repellents in light of the high demand and lack of supplies in retail stores. The People’s Association has worked with NEA and MOH to secure 30,000 bottles of insect repellent.
