Nintendo might be lagging in term of sales, but they are nothing short of being innovative. Say hi to Nintendo Switch, the Japanese gaming firm latest product.
Nintendo Switch is getting a lot of attention since launching its video trailer on YouTube yesterday. The new modular gaming console is also a handheld that comes with a tablet-like display which you can detach and bring it outdoors.
According to the video, two wireless detachable controllers slide out of both sides of the handheld so that you can play with another person side-by-side. Nintendo goes on to hint eight-player multiplayer capability towards the end of the video.
Scheduled to release worldwide in March 2017, the Nintendo Switch will also be accompanied with new game titles including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario and Mario Kart, as well as a port of NBA2K17.
There’s no official number on the price, but analysts are suggesting Nintendo Switch could retail between US$300 – US$350.
