Now there’s no reason not to use one. In a surprise decision from one of the popular password managers, LastPass today announced that they would let users access LastPass from any device, anywhere, for free.
Previously, users will have to subscribe to the Premium plan (US$12/year) for using LastPass on mobile devices or tablets. The move is said to be motivated by the growing mobile users and will likely attract more customers to the platform.

The Premium plan will remain with additional features such as family password sharing up to 6 users, desktop application support, ad-free, 2FA from YubiKey and Sesame, priority tech support and 1GB of encrypted file storage.
There are no actions required for users on the free plan. Simply download the browser extension or mobile app from App Store here or Google Play here to start using.
