Nintendo Switch is off to a bad start with these problems

Joy-con connectivity among the issues

Nintendo has just admitted that the new console Nintendo Switch is having Joy-con connectivity issues affecting some owners.

People are experiencing disconnections midgame, particularly on the left Joy-con. The problem occurs intermittently, even as the Joy-cons are locked securely on the controller or the main console. Besides the disconnections, there are reports of Nintendo Switch not being able to maintain a strong Bluetooth connection to the Joy-cons.

Some users are also experiencing loud beeps coming from the console, dead pixels, faulty displays and unreadable game cards. Strangely, Nintendo UK’s support site even mentioned that these stuck or dead pixels are normal and should not be considered a defect.

Despite all the bad news, Nintendo Switch numbers are still soaring having sold over 1.5 million units in the first week. However, it might be wiser to wait till Nintendo fixes these issues or at least until more game titles are available.
