Amazon Prime Now available in Singapore
Amazon is finally making its move here in Singapore.
The company today launched Amazon Prime Now for Singapore customers, which they can shop via a mobile app for a selection of products including groceries, cosmetics, electronics and household needs.
Hundreds of items are being made available at the moment and there’s no doubt the product range will continue to grow over the next few months.
Strangely, Amazon did not kick off their business here in Singapore with a website but instead opted to go mobile first. They have, however, purchased a few domains including amazon.com.sg and primenow.sg, both which redirects visitors to download the Prime Now mobile app (available for both Android and Apple devices).
Amazon Prime Now Singapore offers blazing fast delivery similar to what’s being offered in the USA, ensuring orders will be delivered within a 2-hour period between 10am and 10pm.
Free delivery applies for orders above S$40, otherwise, a S$5.99 fee applies. Customers can also choose to have their orders delivered within the hour for S$9.99.
As part of the launch in Singapore, Amazon will be offering a couple discounts for first-timers (minimum S$40 order):
