In a strange tie-up between Ya Kun Kaya Toast and Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), the traditional coffeehouse will be giving away free cups of iced coffee or tea when you perform a simple task.
By testing your mobile data connection speed.
In case you are wondering, it’s not an April Fool’s joke. All you have to do is download an app, speed test and redeem.
Without further ado, here are the instructions from Ya Kun:
- Step 1: Download IMconnected mobile app from Google Play here or from Apple’s App Store here
- Step 2: Run the speed test & present your result at the store counter
- Step 3: Redeem a free iced coffee or iced tea!
Simple as that.
The promotion is only valid while stocks last from this Thursday, 29 March onwards so don’t go try to redeem it now.
