Just when we thought 3D printers prices won’t get any lower, New Matter introduces MOD-t on Indiegogo for only US$149 (early birds sold out) and will retail only $100 more when it launches. What’s even more interesting about New Matter’s 3D printing project isn’t just about hardware but they are also building a 3D printing community, where you will be able to share designs and even earn some money off it when someone buys your creation, and all this can be done via an app and an online store. The filament isn’t proprietary which is a plus as well, allowing users to purchase them from third party suppliers.
