Ruroni Kenshin Wandering Samurai Back in Fiery Sequel Kyoto Inferno

Anime and manga fans you won't want to miss this

Ruroni Kenshin first film adaption in 2012 based on the popular manga/anime of the same name was very well received by critics and fans, closing a total of US$61.7 million in the box office making one of the highest performing film in that year in Japan. With those results, there was no reason not to make a sequel so here comes the Kyoto Inferno arc, presumably one of the most popular arcs in the manga series.

Directed by Keishi Otomo, who also worked on the first film, you can expect lots of action as the sequel is bound to attract a bigger budget and if you are a fan of the manga series or simply a fan of samurais and historical Japan, you probably shouldn’t miss this movie. Ruroni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno is now available in all theatres and will run till next Wednesday, 10 September 2014.
