Starting this month in 2015, homeowners will see a decrease in electricity bills averaging around 8% or an estimated $7.93 discount for families living in a four-room HDB flat.
The drop in natural gas prices which in turn decreases the energy costs paid to power generation companies is the reason behind electricity tariff revision that is adjusted quarterly to reflect the changes in the cost of power generation.
