If you frequently take the public transport after 9am and before 5pm daily for your daily activities, you might be interested to purchase the Off-Peak Monthly Travel Pass (OMTP) priced at $80 per month for adults and $40 per month for senior citizens and the disabled, a $40 discount off the standard monthly travel pass.
Apart from the 9-5 timeframe, the OMTP covers travel before 6:30am and after 7:30pm as well as all day on weekends and public holidays. In additional, it will also cover the entire journey that starts during off-peak periods, inclusive of transfers made during peak periods as part of that journey.
OMTP will be available for pre-purchase starting 29 June and for use from 5 July 2015. You can find more information about the new monthly pass here.
