Good news for everyone! Our President, Dr. Tony Tan yesterday announced on his Facebook page declaring 7 August 2015 a public holiday in celebration of the nation’s 50th birthday or otherwise known as SG50.

Dubbed as the Jubilee Weekend, the additional public holiday will result in an extended weekend lasting from Friday to the following Monday (7-10 August 2015).
Apart from the new public holiday this year, the Jubilee Weekend will also be filled with activities and events organised around the island, good time to spend this special time with your friends and family. The Jubilee Weekend programmes include locations such as Marina Bay area, Botanic Gardens, Sports Hub and parks across the island.
