It’s a good year to be a senior citizen here in Singapore. Brought to you by the Ministerial Committee on Ageing and in celebration of the nation’s 50th birthday, seniors who are 50 and above will receive the SG50 Seniors Package which include more than 200 types of offers from over 100 organizations in dining, leisure, lifestyle and wellness.
The package which will come in a 50-page booklet includes a free 5-year PAssion Card membership, free top-up of $25 to existing and additional $100 for new ActiveSG members. Folks above 60 get more perks including $50 public transport voucher, special Kopitiam iCard with more discounts, complimentary admission to the Zoo and Jurong Bird Park in June and discounts off attractions in Sentosa.
There will also be discounted travel and hotel staycation offers, additionally seniors can look out for the “SG50 Seniors” decal at participating outlets islandwide to use the offers. Seniors only need to bring their identification card to verify their age.
