In a bid to encourage more walking and cycling into our daily commute, Car-Free Sunday SG will once again be returning to the CBD this Saturday, 26 June 2016.

The free-to-join event where the public can choose to walk, jog or cycle around Central Business District and Civic District will flag off at 8am in front of the National Gallery.

Apart from the healthy lifestyle, the URA event will also bring pop-up breakfast bars from local vendors including Tiong Bahru Bakery, Kombi Rocks and The Lokal and a breakfast concert by Philharmonic Winds at Empress Lawn, as well as exhibitions, performances, sports and children activities. You can view the entire line-up of the programme here.

The duration and route for the walkers, joggers and cyclists have also been extended in response to public feedback. You can also refer to the suggested route if you are cycling down from home (see image above).

Members of the public are encouraged to take public transport or cycle down to the event. Participants can also rent bicycles on site from rental companies at the starting line or book online in advance.
