Sony’s new Alpha A7R III Full-Frame Camera

Priced at US$3,200, Sony’s latest camera packs a 42.4-megapixel full-frame sensor capable of 10fps and an ISO bracket up to 32,000. Targeted at photography enthusiasts and filmmakers, the camera provides a wide dynamic range, enhanced 5.5-step image stabilization, 4K video resampled from 5K equivalent data in Super 35mm format, and support for S-Log and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma).
Other highlights include 399 focal-plane phase-detection AF points and 425 contrast AF points, an OLED electronic viewfinder and an improved Bionz X processor and front-end LSI.
It is expected to arrive sometime in November and should retail well over S$5,000+.
