The next Xiaomi flagship smartphone is scheduled to arrive on 27 March later next month, according to the company’s global spokesperson Donovan Sung.
Named the Mi MIX 2S, the new edge-to-edge display phone will be powered by the next-generation Snapdragon 845 processor.
While Android phones have usually lost out to Apple at AnTuTu benchmarks, Donovan teases the Mi MIX 2S new launch with an impressive score of 273,741, beating the top rank iPhone 8 Plus by almost sixty thousand.

Apart from the launch date, no other details about the new phone have been revealed. There is a lack of rumours about this phone on the web as well, making it a mystery what Xiaomi has to offer.
The additional ‘S’ behind the phone’s name, however, might suggest there will be little changes to most of what already works for the Mi MIX series and the major upgrade could simply be a beefier processor.
In any case, we will find out more when the launch date nears.
