That’s because this creative lava bun maker has just created a new Durian Lava Bun that is driving the internet crazy. The filling is made from 100% Monthong durian flesh (Golden Pillow) that is rich and sweet and is mixed together with white chocolate to produce a lighter aroma/taste that is suitable even for non-durian lovers.
What’s more, the buns are made to resemble actual durian seeds!
So cute right? But they are only available in Bangkok…
Besides durian buns, Phoenix Lava also specialises in a variety of buns including Osaka-style Mochi Lava Buns, Okinawa Potato Buns, Dango Baos and more.
