Unpackt – Singapore’s first zero-waste grocery store to open on May 5

Bring your own containers and bags

Unpackt store opening soon at Jalan Kuras

In a bid to promote waste-free shopping, customers will have to bring their own containers, jars and bottles when shopping at the new Unpackt grocery store in Jalan Kuras.

Dubbed as the zero-waste grocery store, Unpackt will be selling dry goods such as rice and cereals straight from dispensers. Customers will pay based on the weight of the items.

Aside from food products, Unpackt will also be carrying eco-friendly detergents and house-cleaning products as well as locally made toiletries in their store.

You can find Unpackt at 6 Jalan Kuras which opens this Saturday, 5 May. The grocery store operates from 9am to 8pm daily.
