Tablet sales might be dropping this year but Xiaomi is not ready to give up on it. Launched yesterday, the Chinese tech company announced their latest tablet Mi Pad 4 which comes with an attractive price tag.
The all-metal tablet powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset features an 8-inch 16:10 display and a 13-megapixel camera at the back. It comes in three configurations – 3GB/32GB Wi-Fi and 4GB/64GB Wi-Fi, and LTE.
Despite its compact size, the Mi Pad 4 comes with a 6,600mAh battery with charging through a USB-C port. Other features include Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi support for both 2.4G and 5G frequencies.
Available in Black and Rose Gold, the Mi Pad 4, currently only selling in China, costs just CNY1,099 (less than S$230) for the base variant, making it an extremely affordable tablet with a Snapdragon processor in the market.
