Make plans to visit the Istana grounds this Sunday as it will be open to the public in celebration of the upcoming National Day.
The Istana grounds will be open starting from 8.30am to 6pm in the evening. Visitors are encouraged to wear red and white to celebrate the nation’s birthday.
Besides a variety of programmes and activities, visitors can also sign up for the Nature Guided Walk at the Istana, a collaboration between the President’s Office and the National Parks Board (NParks) which showcases the Istana’s flora, fauna and biodiversity.
Admission is free for Singaporeans and PRs, all other visitors are required to pay an entrance fee of $2 per person. Entry is only by the main gate along Orchard Road. Nearest MRT station is Dhoby Ghaut.
