Huami takes on Fitbit with Amazfit Bip smartwatch
For the unfamiliar, Amazfit is a watch brand under Huami, which is the sole partner of Xiaomi wearables.
Their latest smartwatch Amazfit Bip not only looks beautiful with its 1.28-inch Gorilla Glass screen but also functions as a fitness tracker and comes with GPS + GLONASS sensors, heart rate monitor and has a battery that offers up to 45 days of standby on a full charge.
Other features include IP68 water resistance, all-day display, compass, barometer (new firmware update), and notifications such as incoming calls, watch alarm, idle alert and connects to Mi Fit app for more customizations and activity data.
The Amazfit Bip is priced at ¥379 which is equivalent to around S$76 but you can now pick up the same watch (but only black colour) for just S$78 on Qoo10 Singapore for a limited time. It also comes with free shipping and a 1-year warranty from the seller.
A similar smartwatch such as the Fitbit Versa easily costs over S$250 and perhaps have only a couple more features that you probably won’t even need, making the Amazfit Bip an absolute steal at such a low price point.
