Love Ikkousha’s Hakata Ramen? This one isn’t about their ramen (no doubt delicious), but rather their side dish gyoza (pan-fried dumplings).
The Japanese ramen bar has just announced a rather surprising birthday promotion – free gyoza as the same amount as your age.
This means, for example, if you are turning 30 and you visit Ikkousha, you get 30 free gyoza!
The promotion is valid on the actual birthday, one day before and after as well.
Don’t take our word for it – there’s even an actual account of a 70-year-old grandpa who went down to enjoy the birthday promotion with his family and grandkids.
He probably meant oishii (delicious in Japanese) but 70 pieces of free gyoza? Totally worth it!
Or make the birthday boy/girl eat everything
Like all free stuff, there are certain terms and conditions to take note.
The only one you pretty much need to take note is a minimum of 4 people and everyone must order a bowl of ramen, which is pretty doable.
So the next time someone birthday comes up, jio your ramen and gyoza buddies down to Ikkousha.
