Remember playing SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog back in the early 90s?
Yes, this one.
A live-action film based on the super-speed hedgehog is making its way to the big screen and a teaser has just dropped.
It was first spotted on video game publication IGN.
The teaser reveals Sonic’s blue fur silhouette racing across the screen collecting Gold Rings in a familiar tune.
In the end, a slogan A Whole New Speed of Hero emerges along with the scheduled release date on 8 November 2019.
The film will be produced by the people behind The Fast and The Furious and Deadpool’s director Tim Miller.
Here’s how fans are reacting to the new Sonic movie.

Literally the one and only consistent element of every Sonic game is the ring sound effect and they couldn't even get that right. #SonicMovie
