Nissin Cup Noodles new ‘Korean Army Stew’ flavour now available in major supermarkets here

Love Korean food? You might just fancy Nissin Singapore’s latest Cup Noodles flavour – Korean Army Stew.

Army stew or otherwise known as budae-jjigae or sausage stew is a popular hotpot dish in Korea made with ham, sausage, spam, baked beans, kimchi and gochujang (red chilli paste). It was created after the Korean War using surplus and leftover foods from the U. S. army bases.

Here’s how a rendition of the dish looks like here in Singapore.

According to Nissin Singapore, the Korean Army Stew Cup Noodles features springy noodles cooked in smoky flavoured Kimchi soup.

Can’t wait to try.

It also looks like there might be mock meats and bits of vegetables from the picture on the label.

You can find it now at all major supermarkets and convenience stores and will likely be similarly priced at $1.50 each.
