East Coast Park now has 2 new cycling circuits and a nature playgarden for kids to explore

For beginner and experienced cyclists

There are now more activities for cyclists and kids in East Coast Park.

NParks has just unveiled a new Cyclist Park, a 5.4-hectare one-stop hub for cyclists located at Area D of East Coast Park and along the Round-Island-Route (RIR).

Beginner & Advanced Cyclists

There will be two new cycling circuits where beginners and experienced cyclists can practise various techniques.

Learner Circuit

The 280m long Learner Circuit is designed for beginners to train their balance and stamina. It also has a contoured terrain where cyclists can challenge themselves further by performing with various skills and tricks.

Advanced Circuit

Experienced cyclists up for a bigger challenge will be able to take on the 500m Advanced Circuit which will have undulating pump tracks, bridge, zig-zag columns and more.

Nature Playgarden

There’s also a new 500m² Nature Playgarden with logs that enable kids to hone their balancing skills as they climb and jump over them.

One of the logs has been converted to a 1.5-metre tall mini climbing wall for older kids.

According to NParks, the logs used are upcycled from salvaged wood of trees.

Which also means – no trees are harmed in the making of the playgarden.

How to get there

The new Cyclist Park is accessible via East Coast Park Service Rd. It can also be accessed via the underpass linking Mandarin Gardens to D3 Carpark and via Siglap Park Connector.
