Starbucks S’pore new Bag Collection based on classic takeaway paperbag design goes on sale from Jan 13

So cool

So fashionable: Not made of paper in case you’re wondering

Starbucks Singapore will be launching a new bunch of bags this coming week.

It will be based on the coffeehouse’s iconic shopper bag. Yes, that familiar paper bag with the Siren logo when you tabao your favourite Starbucks drinks.

Like these.

Four to choose from

There will be two sling bags, a tote bag and a pouch to choose from.

They all come with similar brown-ish tan paper designs, except they aren’t actually made from paper.

The straps remind us of Bimba Y Lola bags, which are known for having their brand written in text on the strap.

So stylo.

What about the price?

The small and medium bags (below) are priced at $28.90 each.

The pouch with wrist strap will cost $12.90 while the large tote bag is yours for $32.90.

They will go on sale when Starbucks stores open on Monday, 13 January and only while stocks last.

Here are more close-up shots of the bags so we can try to figure out what it’s made of.

From the looks of it, we are guessing it’s made from Tyvek, a lightweight tearproof synthetic material that looks like paper but is actually consists of high-density polyethylene fibers.

Guess we will only know tomorrow.

One thing for sure – confirm must buy for Starbucks fans.
